Guest Ratings & Reviews
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were very well run and centrally located, offering a lovely view. However, the noise levels were unacceptable at times. The service was top-notch with helpful staff offering great advice. The location was just perfect for my needs though a bit noisy. The dining experience was good but a bit pricey. Overall, a highly recommended stay.
The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Auckland, close to the ferries, making it a great spot to stay. The rooms are clean, bright, and reasonably spacious for such a central location, with wheelchair-friendly features. However, some aspects may feel slightly awkward. The service was extremely accommodating and helpful, even with late arrivals, offering assistance with laundry and other needs. The location is fantastic, though noise levels can rise on weekends due to nearby crowded venues. The dining experience offers simple but filling options, with good value for money, though some items may seem pricey. Overall, a convenient choice for visitors looking to explore Auckland.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and clean, but there seemed to be what sounded like a staff's bedroom nearby, which was a bit off-putting. The service was lovely, with staff being very helpful, although we did have a funny experience of someone delivering too many toilet rolls to our door. The location was great for us, close to various spots in Auckland, although the building might be a bit tired. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a good selection of cereal and toast, but finding bread in a ziplock bag in the room was unexpected. Overall, a decent stay with some quirks.
The hotel room had a bad smell from previous occupants, lacked natural light due to the corner location, closed early on a Sunday inconveniencing our late flight; however, overlooking a bar. Service was exceptional, particularly during a stressful morning with an apologetic team that discounted a mistake. The location was superb, within walking distance to major attractions. The dining was pricey but satisfactory, with a good selection of basic items. The facilities were adequate for a short stay. Additional Details: Slow service, excellent location, helpful staff, average dining.
The hotel offers average-priced, comfortable rooms but suffers from noise due to roadworks and a persistent moldy odor. The service is excellent with friendly and accommodating staff. The location is perfect for events and amenities like Spark Arena, wineries, and CBD access. However, dining is a bit overpriced with limited options.
The hotel had absolutely perfect rooms for what we needed, with great views and super clean and tidy facilities. However, the location was a bit noisy due to nearby bars and music, but being in the heart of Auckland CBD made it very convenient. The dining experience was simple but filling, with prices on the higher side. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when our plans changed unexpectedly. Overall, it was the best place I have stayed at while traveling.
The hotel's location is incredible for enjoying the nightlife with easy access to Queen Street. The rooms were neat and tidy, though impacted by noise from nearby nightclubs. Service was pleasant and helpful, especially when accommodating room changes. The dining options were simple but filling, and the pricing was a bit high. Overall, the hotel offers a great location and friendly service, but noise from nightclubs and pricing may be areas of consideration.
